MORNING COFFEE 5/11/21 Finding God

May 11, 2021

Hello family

“If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. I will be found by you, says the Lord. I will end your captivity and restore your fortunes. I will gather you out of the nations where I sent you and will bring you home again to your own land.”

Jeremiah 29:13-14 NLT

“Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!”

1 Chronicles 16:11 ESV

“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”

Proverbs 8:17 ESV

Unlike something we have lost or misplaced or a destination that we have never been to before, finding/seeking God is simpler than what we make it. Talking to Him, praying to Him does not have to be some big ritualistic ceremony. Sometimes we think we have to do way more than what is necessary. God is not far off in some distant universe. He is with you now, right in the room. You can shut down whatever you are doing, and dive deep into conversation with Him. If you submitted your life to Christ you have a door that is always open. Jesus never leaves the room, we are the ones who do the leaving.

Our thoughts and outside distractions can be the simplest of things that can lead us out of The Spirit and into the flesh. Even in those moments when we do jump into the flesh we still have access back to the Spirit of God. We just get so wrapped up in ourselves that we make it hard on ourselves. When the Holy Spirit is only one deep breath away.

Much Love and God Bless
