Morning Coffee 1/16/20 The Time Is Critical

January 16, 2020

Hello family...

Just wanted to share a text from a friend with you.

John 9:4 states: “We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the One who sent us. The night is coming and then no one can work."
God's word advises us to use our times wisely because He knows that there are many things in life that can distract us from what truly matters. We must make sure that we seek God in everything that we do. We need to organize our time and plan wisely for our future. Time is our most precious gift, because we only have a set amount of it. Let's take care of the most important tasks first. We should always seek to do God's will daily. Meditate on the word of God. Allow Him to direct our lives, instead of the world. When we live with an eternal perspective, that will lead us to be more managing of the time we have on this earth, and to do God's will. We all should be especially diligent in doing our Lord's work, for the fact that the night of death is coming for all of us. Precious Father, I pray that I may follow Jesus Christ's example and live my life in complete submission to Your Holy Spirit. Lord, please give me the opportunity to share the gospel with others, knowing that the night is coming when I will not be able to work. In Jesus' Name I Pray. Amen.

Our time is not for our own purpose. Romans 12:1-2 encourages us to leave more and more of our selves behind and put on more of Christ.

Much Love & God Bless

B. Sawyer
