YOU CANNOT BE REPLACED! YOU ARE IRREPLACEABLE!
After watching another episode of "The Lion Guard" (see yesterdays post) I am reminded that each and every single one of us are irreplaceable. Ono (pronounced Oh-no) a bird member of the lion guard with very keen eyesight is injured and can no longer see as well as he used to. So Ono ask his friend Anga to fill in for him, but when Anga gets the mark of the lion guard Ono loses his marking. He immediately deems himself no longer of any help to his friends.
Kion reminds Ono that he is more than just his eyesight, Kion and the others point out times Ono's wisdom saved them. Kion reinstates Ono as member of the lion guard not as one with great sight but as one with great wisdom
God is not a "one trick pony" and neither are we, as we grow in our walk, God will unlock different gifts at different times in our life. Just because one stage of your life has ended or been put on pause does not mean you are doomed for the dust bin. Breath, take a step back and ask God to show you where, how and if you need to adapt. If you are reading this and breathing air, you still have a mission to fulfill.
Much Love & God Bless
