Morning Coffee 5/23/19 Unchained Heart

May 23, 2019

Hello family...

'“The farmer’s workers went to him and said, ‘Sir, the field where you planted that good seed is full of weeds! Where did they come from?’ “‘An enemy has done this!’ the farmer exclaimed. “‘Should we pull out the weeds?’ they asked. “‘No,’ he replied, ‘you’ll uproot the wheat if you do. Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds, tie them into bundles, and burn them, and to put the wheat in the barn.’”' Matthew 13:27-30

I went for a walk in my neighborhood, there is a church on the route that I was walking. I often would stop and have one on one time with God under the big tree that is on the edge of the property. However something had changed. The two entryways into the property were chained off so no cars could get in. Now I could have easily gone around or even stepped over the chain, but any attempts I made to draw near to the property were met with an icy cold feeling of rejection. I couldn't even bring myself to rest in the grassy drainage ditch in front, as I walked away the holy spirit said to me "that is what the church (body of Christ) is doing to the lost in the world."

We see someone living a certain lifestyle or not living up to our (keyword our) standards, we instantly start putting together opinions and Judgement based on what we see, instead of looking with the heart and eyes of God, looking past the sin and seeing that persons heart (remember we are all broken with out Christ).

Remember Jesus choose Judas Iscariot, who would ultimately betray Him. Yes we can say that was the purpose of Judas, but that would only be seeing and understanding on the surface level. Read Matthew 10:12-15, that is how we are supposed to treat the lost of this world. Leaving an open door untill God shows us different. 'Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ' Matthew 11:28 How can the weary come to Christ if we are setting up chains in the gateway of our heart?

Much Love & God Bless
