READ 1 KINGS 19:11-12
12 And after the earthquake a fire; [but] the LORD [was] not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. - 1 Kings 19:12 KJV
Hello family, When we with for God to speak we all too often seek him in the wrong forms. We act like naaman in 2 kings chapter 5. We want God to give us a grand display of a sign win 4K high definition free wifi and heated leather seats. I know that description was a bit exaggerated but that is what we look for sometimes when we want an answer or advice from God.
God does get bold (see Job chapter 39) but most of the time He is speaking to us in the most subtle ways. Some times it may not be audible at all. He may tug on you spirt to move in a certain direction. And it is not forceful but a gentle but firm nudge.
We live in a very loud world. All day and sometimes all night we receive constant input from the world around us. And we need to shut it all off and out in order to find out what we need to find out from God. Listen to the voice of truth.
Much Love & God Bless
