8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. - 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV
Hello family, I have a question for you as well as myself. Why do we wait till all hell is breaking loose before we look to dig deep into God? We all have done this at one point in our walk with God. Things are going good and the skies are clear, we tend to slack off we let our guard down a little bit we be come relaxed. And when an attack from the enemy comes we scramble for our armor and sword when we should have been ready for the attack ready to counter the enemy's moves.
No place in the bible does it say we can relax and let our guard down. We are to be always on guard. The only time we can put our spiritual feet up is when our life on this earth is over and He calls us to eternal rest. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints-- - Ephesians 6:17-18 NKJV
