September 16, 2015

“2 You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you. - Psalm 8:2 NLT”

Hello family, When we worship we are doing spiritual warfare. Satan would love nothing more that to keep us in a defeated attitude. But when we push past that and pour out our hearts in worship the atmosphere where we are changes and it sets the stage for God to move.  God does inhabit the praises of His people (see psalm 22:3). And when He inhabits our praises he fills us with what we need.

Their have been times i was stressed about a situation and had to go to God in worship given it all to Him. After worship the situation was still their but the lies of the enemy were put out of my mind. Worship can and will get us through some of the toughest times of our life. God is wanting bring the peace and healing we need. We just need to let go and allow Him to minister to us through our worship.

“6 David was now in great danger because all his men were very bitter about losing their sons and daughters, and they began to talk of stoning him. But David found strength in the LORD his God. - 1 Samuel 30:6 NLT” (Go and read the rest on your own)

During this series there will be no music to listen to. Go and foster your own personal worship time with God with the songs he lead you to!
