Morning Coffee 6/24/15 What We Are Called To Do! Pt2 (positioned to minister)

June 24, 2015

“As for Philip, an angel of the Lord said to him, “Go south down the desert road that runs from Jerusalem to Gaza.” So he started out, and he met the treasurer of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under the Kandake, the queen of Ethiopia. The eunuch had gone to Jerusalem to worship, and he was now returning. Seated in his carriage, he was reading aloud from the book of the prophet Isaiah. The Holy Spirit said to Philip, “Go over and walk along beside the carriage.” Philip ran over and heard the man reading from the prophet Isaiah. Philip asked, “Do you understand what you are reading?” The man replied, “How can I, unless someone instructs me?” And he urged Philip to come up into the carriage and sit with him.” (Acts 8: 26-31 NLT)

Hello, family, this is part two of what we are called to do. We read about all the awesome things that God did through the apostles and we are left in awe and wonder. But (speaking for myself) left with a sense that I can’t be used like that. Miracles are reserved for the Prophets, Apostles, and evangelist.

A TITLE IS NOT A QUALIFICATION TO BE USED BY GOD!!! Last time I checked “God is not a respecter of person!” He will use and anoint whomever He chooses. Man’s qualification means absolutely nothing to God! Now that we gotten that out of the way. Don’t put limits on how God can use you! He will do whatever He pleases!

Philip was preaching in Samaria (that Is a story in its self). After he was done preaching the lord gave him some specific instruction. He did has he was instructed. If you read the rest of the story (recommend you do!) down to verse 40 you will see that Philip baptized the man. When we leave our hearts open in obedience to God we position ourself to be used by God in whatever way he chooses

Pt3 tomorrow

Much Love & God Bless
