“How you are fallen from heaven, O shining star, son of the morning! You have been thrown down to the earth, you who destroyed the nations of the world. For you said to yourself, I will ascend to heaven and set my throne above God’s stars. I will preside on the mountain of the gods far away in the north. I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.’ Instead, you will be brought down to the place of the dead, down to its lowest depths.” (Isaiah 14:12-15 NLT)
Hello family. The opening scripture is directed to the king of Babylon, but it is a spiritual reference to satan fall. Lucifer was his name in heaven and he was the choir director he was close to God. But he became prideful and tried to place himself above God. He failed. And God cast him along with a third of the angels who followed him out of heaven. Satan cannot regain his former place. That is why he is so persistent in drawing us away from God. Because of Christ being the sacrifice for our sins we have forgiveness. There is no forgiveness for satan his end is not a good one. He had no one to tempt him he got prideful in his self and sought to overrule God. When we choose to follow Christ we join the winning team. We just need to keep walking the straight and narrow path. This world is not our home!
