Morning Coffee 6/17/14 Too Grown
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." (Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV)
God has equipped us with all the tools we need to face any challenge, any temptation, and any trial that may come. We know the things that are a temptation to us. We know how to avoid them. We know every step to being victorious over these temptations.
Stop making excuses! Stop fooling around and execute the things God has told you to do! We are too grown to keep doing things half way and making excuses for not doing what God told us to do. Junk from your past will show it's ugly head many times on this road God has you on. When it does, keep it moving! Don't even give it a second look. That sin from your past is just that, your past! So grab a hold of God and ask Him for the strength to endure!
We are too grown and too mature in Christ to keep repeating the same habits that get us nowhere. So when challenges arise don't look up and cry why, but look to Christ! Whether we know it or not people are watching and they are observing how we react to the trials in our lives. Don't allow stuff to hinder you, nor take up space in your life. Give it all to God, allow Him to clear your troubles, because He wants to use you!
Much Love & God Bless
