“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:16-17 NIV)

Sit back for a minute and think over your life. Think about all the big and little blessings God has given you think about how he has saved you from destruction! I know everyone does not have a “Cinderella” testimony, you may have grown up in Christ centered home with a mother and a farther and gave your life to Christ when you were eight. The point is it does not matter how you came to Christ. What matters is that you are motivated by the power and love of God to live unashamed for the Gospel!

When God gave me the title, true worship! (Unashamed)” I thought he wanted me to write about worshiping Him in song. But as the song that inspired this devotion played God lead me to Romans 1:16-17, as I read, it spoke to my heart. It’s not just about worshipping unashamed in song during praise and worship at church. It’s about letting your life over flow with worship to God. In the work place, walking down the street, at the park with your kids, in the halls at you school. If the Lord calls on you to minister to a person, you should be ready and willing. If you have to leave a conversation with your friends because it the subject Convicts you and you know it’s not one you need to be involved in, there should be no shame when you excuse you self.

Worship is so much more than lifting hands, falling on our knees. True Worship Is living unashamed for the Gospel of Christ. When Paul and Silas was in prison (Acts 16:16-40) and they praised God in spite of their current situation, that was unashamed true worship. Their faith in God allowed them to keep the focus on God and to keep living for Him even I the middle of a roman prison.

Let you life overflow with true worship unashamed to God.

Much Love & God Bless
