“You have heard that our ancestors were told, ‘You must not murder. If you commit murder, you are subject to judgment.’ But I say, if you are even angry with someone, you are subject to judgment! If you call someone an idiot, you are in danger of being brought before the court. And if you curse someone, you are in danger of the fires of hell. “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God. (Matthew 5:21-24 NLT)
Hello again family, I pray you are well. The above scripture passage has truly been active in my life. Last week, a good brother and I had a disagreement that was caused by actions on my part. After things cooled down a little, God began to show me where I had gone wrong. I felt I was the victim and I had done nothing wrong. And that only made things worse. I was caught up in how I was hurt and how I needed and apology.
God kept speaking to my heart and kept showing me how I was holding a grudge. Once I came forward and apologized for my actions and truly admitted my fault, peace finally came to my mind and healing began.
If you have had a disagreement with a friend brother or sister, sit down with God and really let him show you where you went wrong. Because you had your hand in the disagreement too! There are two sides to every story
Much Love & God Bless
