Morning Coffee 9/2/14 Positioned For Purpose

September 2, 2014

”Mordecai sent this reply to Esther: “Don’t think for a moment that because you’re in the palace you will escape when all other Jews are killed.  If you keep quiet at a time like this, deliverance and relief for the Jews will arise from some other place, but you and your relatives will die. Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for just such a time as this?” Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai:  “Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.”  So Mordecai went away and did everything as Esther had ordered him.” (Esther 4:13-17 NLT)

Esther was not made queen just to replace the old queen (Vashti). No! God placed her there for a purpose. Through the wise words of her uncle, Esther realized that she was place for purpose.

Sit back and think about all the positions God has had and currently has you in. Think about how you impact that environment, both physically and spiritually. You are not at your place of work just to make a paycheck and provide for your family. Your purpose for stopping at the same gas station every day maybe more than just, gas, coffee, and a doughnut. Your life maybe silently, ministering to the clerk at the counter. You maybe a preschool teacher, you teach the curriculum given to you buy the school. But it’s the little personal lessons that come from the curriculum that God wrote on your heart, that impacts those young lives the most.

Don’t take the positions God has you in for granted. Don’t walk into that place with a “just another day” attitude. You don’t know how your how Position may have great Purpose

(Read the full book of Esther. It is awesome!!!)
